Well . . . think about it! Stop reading this dribble, take a breath, and look at everything around you. Almost everything you see . . . From the chair you may be sitting in to the computer monitor on which you're reading this note began in the recesses of someone's mind . . . Our friend, Dr. Einstein over there, developed his Theory of Relativity when he imagined himself as a photon travelling at the speed of light. Through that act of imagination he understood the nature of the universe which was later proved through mathematics.
Jesus, the one whom we follow on our journey to God, used imagination to help all who had ears to hear understand that the world could be a better place, that the Kingdom of Heaven is within, and that we are all called to be one with God and one another.
At Ecclesia, we commit ourselves to living out our call to love God with all that we are and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We open ourselves to doing that through worship, through our drop-in center, at Ecclesia House, and now with what we are imagining for the Hope Center. We look for God in all things.
