The "Carriage House" . . .
is situated at the rear of the Hope Center property. Renovated in the 1990s and most recently occupied by Street Rock Ministries, the building will house SafeHaven, Ecclesia offices, and meeting space. SafeHaven, our five-year-old drop-in center, offers hospitality and services to our sisters and brothers who are homeless or near homeless. The center will move from our rather cramped quarters at 98 Grand Street to the first floor space which includes two half-baths, a kitchenette, and a private meeting room. Four of the photos below give a sense of the space the way it was on Saturday, October 13, 2012.
The second floor (the last four photos below) offers a large multipurose room. Adjoining it are an office and a workroom which has the potential to serve as small business incubator space.
